Discover Church

Vision

The purpose of Discover Church has never been about numbers or buildings, it is about changed lives. It is about reaching and caring for people the way Jesus showed us. In less than seven years we have seen over 400 salvations and 300 baptisms here at DC, and over 400 salvations through our church plant in Managua, Nicarauga. We encourage you to check out this recent baptism video, which demonstrates the reason Discover Church exists.

Beliefs

• There is only one God, and He is Creator and Ruler of the universe.
• God is understood in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of all mankind.
• No one is good enough to reach God apart from the salvation offered by Jesus.
• Jesus will return to earth one day and will restore the Kingdom of God, as He promised.
• The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian and serves as our Counselor in daily life.
• God revealed Himself to us through the Bible, which is inspired by God and infallible.
• The church is the body of Christ.
• The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.
