  • Statement of Faith

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."

    John 3:16-17
  • The Nature of God

We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. There is one God, eternally present in three persons; Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

    Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17, John 1:1-4
  • The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative source of Christian faith and practice. The Bible is a supreme revelation from God, superior to conscience and reason, through not contrary to reason.

II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21
  • Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death.

    Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 4:14-15, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11
  • The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the consummation of the Kingdom of God and the restoration of everything, as He promised long ago through His holy prophets.

    Matthew 24:42-44, Acts 1:11, 3:19-21, Revelation 11:15
  • Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift from God to man. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty.

    Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23
  • The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He lives in every Christian at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit gives gifts to believers to empower them to be first and foremost "witnesses" (Acts 1:8) for Him. All of the gifts are operable for today. In addition, the Holy Spirit provides the Christian power for living, provides understanding of spiritual truth and provides the strength to live a Christ-like life exhibiting Godly character.

    I Corinthians 12, Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 8:17, 10:44-46, Galatians 5:22-23, Luke 11:13
  • The Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.

    Matthew 28:18-20, Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 2:19-22
