Part of loving people the way Jesus taught is taking care of one another's needs. For that reason, we have a number of groups in the church that are designed to help take care of folks. If you or someone you know has a need in one of the areas listed below, please use the links below or contact the church office and we'll get you in touch with the right people.

Hospitality Ministry
Our hospitality ministry provides meals and makes visits to families who have lost a loved one or have a family member recovering from surgery or illness.
Please let us know of needs in the church. We can't meet needs about which we don't know! James 5:14 "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders..."

Fight Club
Fight Club is Discover's substance abuse ministry. The group meets weekly to support one another as they conquer addictions and work through the complications in their lives. This is not counseling, therapy, or a "quick-fix" for life, but a group of similar people who support and respect each other as they move forward with their lives.
Anonymity and confidentiality are respected.

Premarital Counseling
Getting married? Congratulations, and as you get ready for the big day, please don't forget to spend some time preparing for your life after the wedding. Discover offers premarital counseling without charge for engaged couples attending the church, led by trained couples in the church.
Please note: Premarital counseling is a requirement to be married by one of our pastors or at our facilities. Pastor Dan Atkins is not always available for weddings.

Marriage/Family Counseling
Let's face it; sometimes the closest relationships are the ones that hurt us the most. If you or your family needs an outside perspective, we want you to know that we're here for you. Our pastoral staff is happy to meet with you as their schedule permits, and if they are not available or you need ongoing assistance, we have other ministers and lay counselors who are available to meet with you as well.
To meet with any of our staff or counseling team, you will need to make and appointment.
